We separated in 1986 and introduced our own brand name of "SMI" Cable Glands. Our range of products is widest which no other gland manufacturer has. "SMI" has a team of experienced engineers with technical expertise backed by in house state of art R & D, manufacturing and testing facilities. As a result we at "SMI" have ready solution for any specific requirement.

“SMI” Glands conforms to BS 6121 and IS 12943 for Double and Single Compression glands respectively. “SMI” has contributed the design and technical data for the making of Indian Standard for single comp. Rubber component manufacturing facilities viz rubber mixing moulding machineries & modern tool room so as to have control over most vital component of cable gland. We can supply Nitrile, Neopren, Silicon and Viton rubber component as per customer’s requirement to suit specific site conditions.
