GLAND DESIGN : SMI Cable Glands are designed as per test
requirement of BS 6121/IS 12943 & IP 66 as per IS 13947 (Part
I)
MATERIAL : Cable Glands are made of Brass Material
as standards Alternative Material available are Aluminium, M.S.
& SS request.
FINISH : Brass Glands are available with Nickel
Plating as standards also available with Tin, Chrome plating on
request.
ENTRY THREAD : Cable Glands are supplied with
B.S.Con entry thread as standards other forms of threads available
are Metric, NPT PG, BSP, etc.
FLAME POOF APPROVALS : SMI Flameproof glands
are certified by CMRI Dhanbad, DGFASLI, BIS, CCE-Nagpur for use
in Gas Group I, IIA, IIB & IIC
ACCESSORIES : Cable Gland Accessories available
are Brass Earth Tag, PVC, LSF & FRLS Shroud, Stop Plugs, Adapters,
Reducers etc.
